Black walnut hulls don’t give up their color easily. It takes time — weeks of slow infusion in oil before that deep, dark green comes through. The result is one of the boldest-looking salves in the RNR line, and one of the most rooted in Midwest tradition.
Walnut trees have always had a reputation for being particular about their territory. This salve carries that same energy — earthy, quiet, and not trying to be anything it isn’t. It’s a workhorse tin for weathered skin that’s seen some things.
